It is uncertain what kind of weather there is in which part of the world. -
In some places it is dry and barren where as other places are wet and it is raining. But a few decades ago, China was able to create a new way to create an artificial rain. It is called rain seeding and this process was created to create rain fall from the cloud even when there is no sign of rain. Simply some ice nuclei are sent into the clouds and make it rain. Every raindrop needs nuclei and the main aim was to use the rain in agriculture areas for proper irrigation.
But a few years back during the Olympics in Beijing, China, China used the reverse method to not make it rain in the certain area. Basically the aim was to make it rain in other places excluding the place where the Olympics was held. This worked effectively there but new news are coming out sharing that it can actually make rain stop forever.
