Chinese woman goes shopping $em! n@ked

Chinese social media has been set alight by a social media post. The post shows a woman browsing for furniture half naked without wearing underpants. -
The original post appeared in 29th of June and it was claimed that the unidentified woman was shopping in an IKEA store in Beijing. The Swedish furniture giant reported the incident to police and even denied the allegation.
A user named ‘wu hou kuang shui_silent’ posted the picture to Weibo, China’s equivalent to Twitter and wrote ‘I finally understand why you Beijing residents like shopping in IKEA.’
Two pictures showing the back of the woman in close distance was shared by the user and in both the pictures, she was sporting a grey top with no trousers or underpants. The woman appeared to be shopping in a furniture store.
People can be seen caring bright yellow shopping bags in the picture. It is unknown if the woman knew people were taking picture of her $em! n@ked body. The user has more than 108,000 followers on Weibo and the post has since been deleted. On June 30, the Beijing police authority demanded the pictured be deleted as the picture was getting shared widely. It is even believed by many Chinese web users that the picture is a promotional way for IKEA’s Beijing stores. To deny the statement, IKEA released a statement on 30th of June through its official Weibo account.
The statement said, ‘We also hope that all consumers observe social morality and maintain social justice and social order.’
